Is everyone surviving this heat here on the East Coast?  It has been a heat wave for the last five days.  It is way to hot for me.

Enjoying the summer

One of my favorite things about teaching is having the summer off.  We need this time to relax and rejuvenate after our long school year.  I am taking a break from packing for my cruise.  I leave on Saturday and can't wait.  When I get back August will be right around the corner and it will be time to start thinking about setting up my classroom.  I always underestimate the amount of time it takes to do my room.  Maybe this summer I will start sooner.
